Carpet Bargains will give free carpet samples with a toll free call 1-833-383-0581. They offer over 150 styles of luxury vinyl flooring too. 

Recycle carpet samples: What's great about carpet and flooring samples, you can recycle them into doll houses, shelving and other uses. Recover or build a cat scratcher stand. Depending how big of a sample you receive, cover the post as well. Cut them into rounds and make coasters. Line pet carriers.

 Staying connected in this "covid" world is a challenge. Sure, Skype, Zoom, Team-meeting, Facetime, telemed, and all those other virtual "connections" allow some sort of contact, but they don't take the place of physical contact.  Telemental or telemedical appointments are lacking. Chowder Bowl in Newport, Oregon

 After a full day exploring Newport beaches and shops; finding the right place to eat is important to finish the day happy. The Chowder Bowl in Newport, Oregon doesn't disappoint. I'm not compensated for this review. The photos and opinions are my own.  The Chowder Bowl, located  at 728 NW Beach Drive in Nye Beach, has been open since 1980. Parking is tricky some hours but they are famous for their clam chowder and worth finding a spot. You can buy the chowder to go and pick it up at some Oregon Costco warehouses as well. The chowder is served with most meals and comes with a pat of butter on top. I like it but if you prefer not to have butter, be sure to tell them to leave it off. You can get the chowder in a bread bowl that is so big, you can share.  It's a nice small restaurant that gets very busy but even so, the service is quick and food hot.
